Corinne provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families going through life transitions. In particular, she enjoys partnering with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, behavioral and emotional dysregulation, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship struggles or family changes, and grief/loss issues. Corinne has a thorough understanding of educational expectations and systems due to working in the public school system as a counselor for 10+ years.
Training and Experience
Corinne is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University, and her Master of Education in Counseling from West Chester University. She has experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds in the community, higher education, and public school settings.
Techniques
Corinne uses a variety of counseling approaches to best meet her clients' needs and personal style. Some of these include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Brief-Solutions Focused Strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.
