Corinne has experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing life transitions. In particular, she enjoys partnering with clients who are experiencing emotional dysregulation, depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship struggles or family changes, and grief/loss issues.
Training and Experience
Corinne is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University, and her Master of Education in Counseling from West Chester University. Prior to starting her practice, Corinne worked in the public school system as a counselor for 10+ years. As such, she has a thorough understanding of educational expectations and systems. She has experience working with clients of all ages from diverse backgrounds in the community, higher education, and public school settings. In 2023, Corinne began training as a Brainspotting practitioner and is working toward this professional certification.
Techniques
Corinne uses a variety of counseling approaches to best meet her clients' needs and personal style. Some of these include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Brief-Solutions Focused Strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.
