Treatment Specialties
Corinne specializes in providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing life transitions. In particular, she enjoys partnering with clients who are experiencing the effects of trauma/PTSD, emotional or behavioral dysregulation, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship struggles, family change, and grief/loss issues.
Training and Experience
Corinne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Brainspotting Therapist. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University, and her Master of Education in Counseling from West Chester University. Since completing her Brainspotting (BSP) certification, Corinne has continued to receive extensive training in BSP practices that best meet her client’s needs (examples include BSP for spirituality and intuition, life enhancement, and parts work). Prior to starting her practice in 2020, Corinne worked in the public school system as a counselor for 10+ years. As such, she has a thorough understanding of educational expectations and systems. She has experience working with clients of all ages from diverse backgrounds in the community, higher education, and public school settings.
Techniques
Corinne uses a variety of counseling approaches to best meet her clients’ needs and personal style. Some of these include Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, Brief-Solutions Focused Strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.
